Geolocation

Geolocation and geofencing are largely used in modern factories for Industry 4.0 processes. Knowing the exact object position in a plant is key for many applications. Using different wireless technologies, an asset can be tracked outside a building or inside. Indoor geolocation will classically use Bluetooth BLE, UWB, Wifi or Active RFID.

The Centiloc Solution brings a new tool for this purpose, as it allows to geolocalise an object at the centimeter level. When an object is placed on a smart shelf, the coordinates of an object are precisely determined by our geotracking system.
