Who are we?
The 3 founders, Romain, Loïc and Frédérick have known each other for a very long time.
They are more than a team of founders, they are friends who have worked together on numerous industrial projects in the past. They got to know each other in several large companies such as STMicroelectronics, ATMEL or Safran. It is on the basis of their shared passion for technology and innovation that they decided one day to embark on the Centiloc adventure.

The Centiloc team is built around a group of RFID-NFC experts
Due to our geographical location in the “Smartcard Valley”, where many companies of NFC technology were born, the members of our team have extensive experience with this technology. They have previously worked for specialised companies such as semiconductor manufacturers, smart card integrators, operating system providers, or design offices.
As a result, they possess the knowledge gained from past complex projects around identification. Several projects involved the identification of people or goods. They have participated in the delivery of billions of smart objects for various applications such as electronic passports, bank cards, or point of sale systems.
Furthermore, our NFC experts have been globally recognised by participating in standardisation committees such as those offered by ISO organisations. They have contributed to the development of new standards around contactless and NFC technology within the NFC Forum.
